    Default Unused blocks/strips

I have made a black and white quilt and have about 40 small blocks and strips that are 2 1/2 inches. Am needing simple ideas to use up the "mistakes". Always hate to have it go to waste. Thanks!!

So I take it the quilt is complete? If not can you use them in the corners of the border? Or make a pillowcase type of bag to store the quilt in.

The pillowcase idea would be great! Thanks!

If they are big enough I use leftover blocks to make little zippered or drawstring pouches using several free tutorials online. I usually have several made and use them to put small gifts in as the "wrapping". Or put a few together and use as a practice sandwich for fmq.

Make a couple pillowcases to go with the quilt. You could even go with pre-made pillowcases and just applique the squares here and there.

You can always put them together and add them to the backing of the quilt. I love a nice looking backing.

How about a Bedrunner to match?
