I just learned from my DDIL that her sisters found more quilts that they say are trashed. Her parents had had an attic fire a year or so ago and some things sustained some water damage. Anyhow, they think I may be able to steal some fabric from one of them for a label. They offered me whatever is there. Could I refuse :!: :?: :!: :?:

Sure you could refuse but,
Ditto CarrieAnne. It won't hurt to check it out. Maybe you could find something without the damage and make something for your DIL parents. Just an idea.

I alredy promised my DDIL that if there was anything worthwhile I would do something for the sisters. There are 5 of them so I don't know where this will all go. The parents are in their late 80's and not in good health so the kids are purging now to help them in the future. Besides her mother & I are good friends, so her giving things to me makes it a little easier for her.
