    Thanks, everyone, I appreciate the help. The background is black though, not a deep navy blue. Currently I haven't sewn the pieces together, but I am already playing with border ideas. I have enough of the red to do a thin red inner border and then I could do a black outer border. Time will tell if that is actually what I do....

    Again, thanks for your help. It is going to be a wild quilt!

    Ha! You are right. My quilt inspector, Hot Rod, always has to get in the picture, and he likes to prop his chin up just like that!

    Can't be too wild it's putting your assistant to sleep ! Like your border ideas- if it were mine I'd use metallic thread on the black border to give it that final zing! Solid white was a good choice to set off your 2 fabrics.

    I think it looks great. Warm Wishes is such a great go to pattern. Do you have enough red for the binding?? Glad to see Hot Rod back on the job supervising your quilting!
