Makes a very simple quilt VERY EXCITING....the only one who doesn't think so is your cat who looks exceptionally bored by it all. ;-).

It is really nice. I don't consider it "busy".

I think it turned out great! I like the idea of 2 solid borders also, a red and a blue.

Not too wild. It's wild fabric and should show to its best advantage. I think this is a great plan!

Personally I love it, but I might add a solid or tone on tone blue for a border. Your cat, I'm sorry to say, doesn't look very interested, but he/she is beautiful.

Wow, you really got busy. I like it a lot! I also like your quilt inspector; reminds me of my Bandit kitty gone 20 years ago. He was the best old lovey cat and I still miss him.

I agree with the idea of a thin red and then a wider dark blue. The red would not be resting against another red so it would give a defined frame. And a dark blue wider border would really anchor it. I think the dark blue would also make it great for any person getting it. Love the inspector!

I like this idea. I know your dark is black but if you had a really dark mottled blue it should work. I had a blue batik that was very hard to tell if it was blue or black. Depended on how the light hit it. Super quilt!

The white of the blocks is where I rest my eyes and then I look to the fireworks fabrics and enjoy the show. I would bind it with a dark blue and say ta da... Wonderful charity quilt. I love your quilt.

If the quilt is large enough to suit you I would just bind it and leave it like it is.
