Dont get me wrong~ I think PIF is great and some of the fabric should go that way. But you have put in ALOT of work and time plus the money you spent on fabric and gas. It is my humble opinion that you should offer for sale too - maybe at 2.50/yard....you will have done all the hard work for us not to mention the time and materials to ship fabric. I am in. If you dont want to put in classifieds right away you can pm me and I will give you my email

Looking forward to your sales thanks cheryl

Thats what I just told my husband I was going to PIF just for postage once I go through it. Might take me a year but I will. :)

Maybe, it's time for you to go on a "Outside your Stash" shopping trip. I do that once in a while when I look at my stash and see a color absent.

Most recently I have been adding Batiks, some blues, a few oranges (yuk), and always a variety background fabrics whenever I can find them.

I also add colors that I have to go out and purchase for my SP's for use in future SP swaps. My stash is void of pastels, but I am building a swap stash for those who like them.

that was an awesome find. I found a similar sale on Craigslist the end of January and am still amazed at what I am finding. I now go to my "guest room quilt shop" instead of my LQS. I'll be piecing quilts forever without having to leave home!! Good luck with sorting and finding a place for everything.

What a terrific find and I'm sure you'll be able to make lots of quilts for charity (that's what I would do with all that material) and you'll still have materila left for you to make as gifts.
