    maviskw, that is a great looking quilt and besides, the wind blows in any number of directions.

    Thanks, but if you don't get the pinwheels right, the pattern won't turn out the same. It is the dark pieces on the pinwheels that make the square-on-point pattern. Maybe it would be a cute another way.

    I just did almost the same thing..I misread the directions and ended up with a ton of 1/4 square triangles that are way too small...so I will find a way to incorporate them into the sashing of my quilt...way too many to waste!!!

    I call this Divine Intervention. I end up just re-working my original plan with my chosen fabrics and I would say that 9 out of 10 times I like the 'revision' better.
