I sent a small box of selvedges to Tazmania to the tune of $55.00. Needless to say I can't do that again. Sent a small package later for $22.00.
OMG, my question would be Why????? Is it the shipping cost from another country?
I shipped a box of fabrics to England, wasn't huge and I paid $25, I about had a heart attack but since I promised a YT member I paid it. I love doing things like that but spending that much almost kept me from doing it again..
Can you buy online and save anything?
I do appreciate the USA.......blessed to live here.

Went to my local Fabricland to see if the Steam a Seam was on sale.
It wasn't and I didn't want to pay $24.99 per meter of 12" wide stuff, so I went to the local quilt store to find it at the regular price of $7.50. Will I renew my membership to Fabricland next year? (insert 3 laughing emogies here)

I know what you mean on pricing and the quilt store I go with quilt quality fabric is way cheaper than Fabricland and is ran by fantastic husband and wife team. They just had a sale with $8.50 for prints AND batics and $8.00 a metre for solids. Fabricland is losing a lot of business with the high cost of quilting fabrics and I have heard others say they will no renew their membership. I used a 55% of coupon for Michael's for the large Ofla cutting may, saved $48.00 on that!

With the prices so high in Canada and England I'll bet you that they have very few UFO's laying around as we here in America do. Who could afford not to finish something after paying so much money for the material?
