Sassylass, is the wonderful quilt shop that you mentioned, Your#1 Sewing Centre
in Campbellford? The owners are always so friendly and helpful and they have great selection and prices.

Watson, I used to sell internationally on Ebay and Canada prices weren't nearly as costly as other countries but maybe that's changed as I haven't done it in awhile. I imagine rulers would cost a lot due to size. Wish we could help you with this.
Doesn't Missouri Star have low shipping to Canada?

Not SassyLass here, but I appreciate your suggestion of another LQS to visit.

I've known about that store for awhile, but when I am in that direction, it always seems that I am flying by on the 401. Now that I know it is worth the stop, I am more likely to plan to make that stop! Thanks for enabling!

I just want to note that anything that is marked as being a gift is generally exempt from duty payments. (That makes it sound like child support or something, lol) I guess they figure maling you pay to receive a present would make them look bad. Um, yeah!

It does have low shipping, but then there's the duty .... I bought about $200 worth of fabric (US dollars), paid for shipping, and then had to pay $40 in duty!
