I got tired of putting my ring on the counter when I was showering/sleeping (since I'd manage to scratch my eyes out if I slept with it, I'm sure). I told DH to get me a ring holder, then said wait, I'm sure I have something. A quick search of the house later, look what I found! Eventually I'll use up the thread... I just need to do some hand quilting first!

We have a pet quail who has his own Aurifil thread spool to play with. We roll it on the floor and he chases in circles after it (since it rolls in circles).

Quail as a baby and quail all grown up. He's so small, so the Aurifil spool is the perfect size as a play toy :)
