I went to a JoAnn's in a town where they have a Hobby Lobby and Hancock's. They have a sign posted where they will honor these other store coupons and I was told you could use up to 5 a visit. I had a extra Hobby Lobby so I did well. If you do not get their flyer go on line and sign up for them.
Also my WalMart has a nice selection of black and white and some batik fabrics. Worth a look.

I was also informed recently by a cashier in my nearest Joann Fabric that they will honor multiple coupons from Joann if the source is different for each, so I used my newspaper coupon, my flyer coupon and the one they had put in my bag at my last visit all at the same time.

My (not so) local Joann's will take any number of coupons as long as they have different UPC numbers on them. So when they have the little inserts with a bunch of coupons in there, you can use all of them plus the one on the back of the flier at one time because they all have different numbers!
I don't know if they take hobby lobby coupons though!
You would think they would all accept coupons and stuff the same but I quess not!

Our Joann's honors competitors' coupons, but only on like items. For instance, Michael's doesn't carry fabrics, so you can't use their coupon on a fabric purchase. But they do sell craft items and florals, so you could use it for those items.
I've never had the heart do ask them to redeem someone else's coupons, though. It doesn't seem right to me, to ask one business to abide by the discounts of another.

Every once in a while, I get an uninformed, inadequately trained, rude sales associate at Joann's who insists they do not take internet coupons or coupons with different code numbers if they are for identical discounts; i.e., if they all are for 40 off or 50 off, no matter the source! When my polite insistence gets me nowhere, I have to ask for a manager, who usually straightens it out to my satisfaction. Usually no apology from the sales associate either. Then I leave the store wondering why I ever patronize Joanns in the first place!! But for the most part, 80% of the people at Joann's are competent and courteous.

Sometimes I just take the items to the car. Go back into the store and use more coupons. It is not that far, I can use the exercise AND I am saving money by using every coupon I can get my hands on lol.

I do mostly charity sewing so I buy literally hundreds of yards of fabric, tons of thread, cutting blades etc. I have non sewing friends and relatives get on the mailing list and save their coupons for me, they also give me the ones from the newspaper. I completely fund a project for pillow cases for sick children and Christmas stockings for the troops, so I cant afford quilt shop fabrics as I buy so much. I make quilts and blankets for project Linus...again cant afford quilt shop prices.
People are really happy to save these coupons for me because they know they are being used for a good cause.
