Thanks, Prism99! This looks like a good idea. Also, I saw a suggestion somewhere that you can take a piece of nylon stocking and a rubber band to cover the nozzle on your vacuum and it will keep small parts, buttons, pins, etc. from disappearing.

Please let us know how you like it. I was looking at that, too.

i have the attachment kit- have had it for a couple years now- i love it - it works very well- has a variety of attachments all just the right size for my machines & computer-i purchased my kit from Nancy's Notions- it was under $20- and since it costs me $70 to have my machine cleaned at the dealer's i figure it more than paid for itself the day it arrived. i think Clotildes also carry them- and Keepsake Quilting. there are probably other places- i just haven't paid attention since i have one-

This just came up in my email. I haven't tried this product, but have bought things from the site and they've been good. http://www.miniatures.com/Micro-Vacu...it-P17671.aspx
