Last night I saw a beautiful quilt on here by collady called "My Pantry". I went to sleep last night thinking about what I would put into my jars! Question is this...where do I find all these different varieties of fruits and vegetables? I'm wanting to do mine with some of the things my Mom actually has canned like tomatoes, potatoes, green beans, peaches, pears, purple hull peas. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Mary Jo's has lots. She is in NC, but you can check out her web site.

I have thought about making one of these. If I ever do I think I would probably just buy these charms. Not sure of the quality or anything but they look nice. LOL I am not into searching forever for things. This would be the quickest easiest way to get a bunch of fun fabrics.

I have these charms and even bought them from this seller. I have been collecting fruit and veggie fabrics for a while.

    Check out Fabric.com: http://www.fabric.com/SearchResults2...3-26a376046a5e

They have a nice selection and so does Favorite Fabrics, who is a member here

I got some pretty cherry fabric at Joanne's some time ago. At that time they had a lot of fruit and veggies. Have to check them out since I still have a 50 percent coupon in my car. That sounds like a neat idea for a pretty quilt.

We have four different FQ bundles of fruit/vegetable fabrics available, two by RJR and two by Fabri-Quilt. All are nice, and all are different from each other: http://www.favoritefabric.com/cgi/co.../sr_packs.html
It's an easy way to get a nice variety all at once!
