    Smile Vermont Shop Hop

Is anyone doing the shop hop in Vermont this week? I can't wait to get out to the three shops that are in my area, anyway. Last year I just did them, and wished I had the time to do more shops which are all quite a distance from me. Now that I've retired, I have the time but no cash to spend. It's also a lot of miles to put on to get to the others. Oh, well, I have a gift card to my local shop and will enjoy participating. The shop hop fabric is beautiful, so I'll have to get a little bit anyway. Here's the link: http://www.vermontshophop.com/index.htm.

Last year I did the entire hop as well as the state of Maine hop. This year I will probably only get to a couple of the VT shops.

That must have been fun last year, Jen. Yesterday hubby and I did the three southern shops, and I enjoyed it.

I went to all 16 shops with three lady friends. We started at 8:30 AM on Friday and got home Sunday night at 6:00 PM. We got a lot of beautiful fabric and kits.

    Cindyloowho,
Is your avatar a family member? Would love to hear about him/her. We've had three pure white odd-eyed cats, two deaf and one with normal hearing. The current deaf one is about 12 years old, named "Cleo."

Gosh, Cindy, that sounds like a great time! I'd love to do it with QBs like that. Maybe next year. I used a gift certificate I had to get the half yard bundle of this year's hop fabrics. Can't decide yet what to do with it, but I love the colors!
