I have several old Singers that have been given to me, also my Mother's Singer from 1934. They are wonderful for piecing and are wonderful conversation pieces. I have one in my living room, and one in my bedroom that I use often. People ask me what their value is, I don't even care about that. They are priceless to me. You can get lots of information if you post in the Vintage machines thread.

Take a look at the Vintage Machine forum. You can service the sewing machine yourself to bring it up to working order. There are several threads there to tell and show you how to DYI.
