i don't own one but used it when selling viking machines and it worked great. Go to a dealer and use it for yourself. It's best to try before you buy. I do own the reader/writer for the #1+ and it is good to transfer designs.

I don't have one but the LQS here when I talked to them said it worked great. I'm sure your could call and talk to them. They normally keep them in stock. PM me if you want the contact info; I know the board doesn't want some things posted so just in case this is one of them.

Thanks! I have contacted a couple of dealers and one of them said I would be better off not buying it and getting another machine. I guess he just wanted to sell me a new machine and I do not need another one!!
