If you had your choice of these two machines, which one would you buy if they both were the same price? I want to put it on a frame possibly with a Qbot. Need advice please!!

Can you do a feature comparison between those two machines? I read somewhere that the Viking has a needle adjustment option but don't quote me on that. Other than that, I believe the machines are practically the same. Juki is known for their industrial machines and the reviews are good. Not sure about warranty.

I would think the throat space of these machines would severely limit what the Q bot could do.

Do you have a qbot? I was thinking that it would be better with a bigger throat.

If I am remembering correctly the 2 machines are very similar...same size throat, etc.
I have the Juki, and I love the speed and everything about it.
Check and see how many yards go onto the bobbin on each machine. That would help me make a decision.

I don't know anything about the Viking, but I am not giving up my Juki for anything! I want to get a long arm, but when I do, the Juki stays for piecing. I LOVE everything about this machine.

I use it on a frame, but I can't imagine using a Qbot with it. With only a 9" throat, by the end of the quilt you end up with between 4-5 inches to quilt in. Not alot.

That said, if I could find a long long arm Juki, I would buy it. As long as you remember the magic words "Juki Loves Oil" everything is great.

I have a Juki on a frame, just got it about a month ago, I love it. I agree though, that a Qbot would be very limited.

So it is looking like these machines are not too good for the Qbot. So I better rethink this. Thanks for everyones input. I really appreciate it!!
