Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the 870 and the 875? Thanks.

I know that the 875 is replacing the 870 but I'm not exactly sure what the upgrades or changes are on the 875. Is it possible to get a brochure from your dealer or check them out online? I know the 875 also retails for more than the 870 but I'm not sure what you are paying the extra $ for.

Don't think there was much change...the difference between my 830 and 835 was only the color and the display I think is bigger on the 835... Looked like only cosmetic changes to me...... ??
Love my 830, but I would have gotten the 870 if I knew I was going to become a Quilter!!

I have the 870Quilt & looking at what the 875 has, it appears the same. Although I see this" # The Decorative Tapering feature gradually reduces stitches to create unique embellishments. " on the 875 and if mine has it, I don't know about it...

im pretty sure the only thing was the tapering of the stitches. ive also heard that they worked All the kinks out. i have thw 870 and although i love it, sometimes the fmq can be a challenge. but i still love my machine and i think i finally got it figured out!
