Once you get them laundered, YES, YES, YES, use them. Enjoy them, honor the women who made them by sharing their labors of love. Spread them out on the beds where they can rest and be admired. Hang them here and there and change them often so the stress is reduced on the fabrics. If you hang them over a door, put a spare sheet over the door first and then drape the quilt over it. Put them wherever you will see them and be able to remember those wonderful people who entrusted the quilts to you. What a fantastic gift you've been given.
