It is not unusual here to pay around $25.00 per metre for good quality fabric. The minimum you can get by with is around $12.95 per metre, unless you really get lucky with a sale table at around $4 to $6.00 per metre. Last week I managed to get some good fabric at $2.00 per fat quarter, but this isn't an everyday thing. I also collect vintage, and I think the term loosely seems to cover anything from the 80's back. Though 1975 back is for purists.

A yard is about 3 inches short of 1 metre - 1 metre is 1.09 yards.

Still, I understand how surprised you are....wish I was:)

Same here, I came across a boatload of feed sack 9 patch blocks that were in pretty rough shape. It made us a small fortune.

I noticed that too. I'd hate to see their FB after the buyer gets it.
Geez!!!!! If you figure postage I think it came to 9.20/yard!!! whoever got it must not be able to get out much lol I could pace an ad like this and probably get 2.50/yard lol One lucky seller and I guess a happy buyer

Possibly in any other country than the US - it's a 'normal' price...

I certainly would not pay that for it. If I'm paying that much I want to hand pick each and every piece. Not somebody's left overs.

That would cost about $510 over here....

Nothing there that I would go "ape" over, I'm thinking.
