    Default Virtual Quilt Weekend--11/7-11/10/11

It's time for our monthly virtual quilt weekend. Unfortunately, I won't be joining you this month. My parents are visiting from out of state. When I originally selected this date, this wasn't the weekend they were visiting! But I will check in a couple times over the weekend to see how everyone is doing Looking forward to seeing what everyone is working on.

I'm planning the next VQW the weekend of 12/19. I'm guessing there might be a few people who will need some last minute time to finish Christmas gifts.

I finished this Doctor Who block yesterday afternoon. The next next block has been prepped and is atop my cutting table with maybe half of the individual sections sewn. It will be a weird one ;-) Hope to finish it today, then put the paper piecing away and work on some patchwork I have going.

43 itty bitty pieces in the fringe alone.
    block is 12"

That sounds like a good idea this weekend. It might help me get through small projects that I have started and not finished. I am near the end of a baby quilt, and then I have a few pocketbooks cut and a table runner started. I just may have some of them finished by the end of the weekend.

I have several projects that need to be finished. This might be the perfect weekend to do them.

I'm not quilting this weekend, but I will be sewing. I have a dog harness that is cut out and ready to assemble.

I have a king sized quilt to quilt, lots of UFOs, and I need to make a cat door for our sliding glass door. The cat door will be a quilted pillow to place in the gap of the door, so I can leave it open enough for the cats to get in and out.

I'm going to finish the top of a Halloween birthday quilt for my great niece and then start quilting it. Always a little behind, sigh.......
