SewExtremeSeams, the zippered purses sound cute. I'm home from the Sew-In. I finished 2 quilt tops, will post pictures after church tomorrow. I sewed strips together for a third quilt, might work on that tomorrow afternoon too. We'll see what appeals to me then! See you all in the morning.

Finished 5 of the little purses/bags so far. These are for raising money for missionary work to start a new church. The measure about 4" x 5". Love the Mary Engelbreit fabric.

Mdegenhart, those are such cute purses.
Hoping to get to my sewing area today. Will have to do it this a.m., as my sis e-mailed just now asking for a get-together this afternoon. perhaps I'll be able to do some sewing in the evening.
I used to love to sew at night but now it is difficult because of my eyesight. Was reading the post about good lighting and I am going to look at those bulbs that really give you 'daylight light'.

Beautiful projects everyone. I didn't do any sewing yesterday, but I did draw my pattern for my headrest covers. It's kind of crude, but I'm hoping it works out.
