I missed the start of this VQW, mostly because I've been working this weekend. Another shift today, but I'm hoping to get some sewing in before I have to leave, and again tonight. I did make some progress last night assembling my current project so I'm hoping to finish that today. And get my current quilt off the long arm and into the binding stage.

Love the projects everyone has posted so far.

I joined the Virtual Quilting weekend on Friday but forgot to post. LOL
Here is what I am working on. 1.5" hexies and it is laying on a king size bed. I am making it for my king size bed so hopefully I will get the top completed by Christmas but not the quilting because I want the overhang on the bed with white hexies and then applique on it. Such goals!

LOVE the pineapple blocks - very retro.... and those purses are SO darling. My head spins at the thought of all those hexis, but it's gorgeous !

Sewextremeseams, the purses are really cute.
Mdegenhart, I didn't think I liked pineapple blocks but yours are very pretty. I might make a table topper in the pineapple block.

Raggiemom, ten of those blocks make a very pretty table runner. That is what she made for an example for class (in Christmas fabrics).

I love all of your projects. It sounds like you are getting a lot done. I couldn't join until this afternoon. I have been helping my MIL with a yard sale since Thursday. This afternoon I will sew some more rows on the Labyrinth quilt I am making for my DGS. He picked out the pattern and colors. He is hounding me to get it finished. My goal is to get the center finished this week. Take a look at what I have so far. I will post another picture tonight. Happy sewing everyone!

Quiltingolfer -- your DGS has quite the eye for color !! Can't wait to see the finished quilt.

I AM DONE !!! This is a quilt for my cousin - who was "jealous" because she loves dragonflies and i had made a dragonfly quilt for her niece. When i offered to make one for her - and asked about colors - she said black, red, yellow, orange and green. Sure do hope she likes it - it's actually the first time i've ever made someone a quilt that they knew they were receiving.....really adds pressure !!!! Now to start the matching shams....Thanks for looking !
