Didn't get as far as I'd hoped, but had to stop and do some calculating and reconfiguring of backing and batting. My "assignment" was to make a quilt suitable for a teenage boy. I did get all the rows sewn together and the first 2 quilted. All in all, not too bad.

Spent the afternoon piecing blocks for a mystery quilt. This week's instructions were to make 84 blocks of one design and 84 blocks of another. My goal was to make the first 84 blocks today. I was able to accomplish that. Tomorrow, I will try to make the final 84 blocks then Sunday I can work on FMQ a quilt I am making for my granddaughter for Christmas.

I finished this Labyrinth Walk in 3D a while ago, now trying to finish the borders on a Black and Scrapy Irish Chain this week-end.

I think I found the correct fabric it should come out of the dryer soon. So tomorrow I get to start adding the sashing, and putting the blocks together, hope to have it finished by the evening.

Unfortunately I do not have room for a design wall, mine is a design floor. I roll up the blocks around a tube and stick it in the closet.

It's after 9pm here. Got the sample for a LAQ panto class and started writing the description and supply list.

Got a drawing done for a Thanksgiving wall hanging. I'll get that put together tomorrow and post a picture then.

Think a hot bath is in order.

It's Saturday morning here and I need to get going! Inspired to read what everyone has been up to while I was sleeping. The baton passes to the East- maybe our Australian and New Zealand members have already been working all Saturday and are ready to rest? I wonder which members are closest to the International Date Line- who is out in the Pacific?

I am going to check out a local quilt shop today. Planning on getting the backing and border fabric for my DGS's quilt, backing for a log cabin quilt top, fabric for a baby quilt, printed treasures paper for a family reunion quilt and thread for my bobbins. After I get home will be finishing up a few things on my to-do list!! Whew!!!!!! Sunday going grocery shopping and the rest of the day sewing...I have off work Monday so hopefully most of the day can be spent in my quilting/sewing room.

I will be finishing the quilting on a UFO I started in 1990. Then on to my fall wall hanging, I am thread painting for my kitchen wall.
