    Such lovely projects everyone.

I have most of my cutting done. I just need to pin on my binding and sew. I worked on my step #1 of BHMQ and cut out my step #4. I plan to make my pillowcases tomorrow. I will post pics in the next few days. I need to work on quilting my Olaf top. Then make and quilt my train quilt. If I wake up in the middle of the night I’ll get up and sew.

It seems to be a very busy VQW and quite a few participants...maybe because it is “crunch time” to get things done. I love seeing the creative and inspiring projects.

I have to work in my retail store today so I won’t get to sew...I wanted my staff to have Christmas Eve off so I am doing a solo shift. Usually we get husbands in a panic shopping for their wives. LOL

I will jump in on New Year’s Day with both feet! Merry Christmas to each of you.

I finally got my top all put together yesterday only to discover I don’t have a backing or batting for it. Since I have zero desire to go anywhere today, I ordered my backing and batting and I will just have to wait for it to arrive. Hopefully it will all get here before next week so I can get it finished!

jmoore, I'm sorry you have to work today! But that's sweet of you to give your employees the day off.

Today is the day I will sew Clue #5 on my Bonnie Hunter mystery. I have one side left on my binding... plugging right along!

I love that block, too, Cathy. If you remember where you saw it, please let us know. I just love scrappy!

So much was accomplished on this VQW! I loved seeing what everyone was up to. I'm looking forward to doing it again for New Years!

I took a break from sewing quarter square triangles and long armed this top this afternoon. To make the top I used a jelly roll called Aubergine by Maywood Studios and the pattern is from MSQC. I used a simple stipple to make the long arming go fast. Family will be here in a couple hours so I need to get hoppin' on the cleaning! Have a Merry Christmas everyone!
