Today I managed to get the hanging sleeve sewn onto the quilt and aside from making the sleeve yesterday, that's the only sewing I got done this weekend-- But I sure enjoyed seeing what everyone else is working on! Now I'm all inspired to start something new, but I still have that pesky Feb. UFO that I said I'd finish before starting anything new LOL! Happy sewing. Thanks for hosting Raggiemom.

And Connie- I hope you feel better soon, sinus infections are no fun!

    cjsews--love your swoon quilt!

I'm finally checking back in after being MIA all weekend . I've been holed up in my sewing room working hard. I finished the five quilts on my list and am almost caught up on my various BOMs. I stayed off the computer all weekend so haven't had a chance to read through the thread and see what everyone is up to. That's next on my list. I hope everyone had a productive weekend also and will see you next month!

Looks and sounds like most of you had a productive VQW. I am just at then end of handsewing the binding on my charity quilt...I also got the binding on a crib quilt to be mailed for a March 10th baby shower in California. I won’t be able to join the March VQW but will watching from a distance. Thanks Heather...it sounds like you had a productive weekend too.

jmoore, what a beautiful quilt! I love the colors and the variety of block patterns... the chains, the on point setting... everything!

I sewed my heart out all day long. I got into the sewing room at about 8Am and was there until nearly 4PM. It's a new project. I got a lot done, and feel really good.

Dedemac: I bet you did give your husband a big scare. Poor guy.

    Wow to wonderful finishes!

Raggiemom: Thanks for hosting. I am looking forward to next month’s VQW.

Rob: Thanks. I am starting to feel better. I haven’t had a sinus infection for a couple of years so I delayed going in because I thought it maybe was a cold. I know I will need a nap after working as a substitute teacher all day tomorrow because I tire easily.

I got the rest of my blocks pieced, I am working on a Judy Niemeyer Sunflower Illusions. Now to trim and start the curved piecing of connecting two sections this week. I tried to post a picture, but I couldn't get it to load,

Thanks Raggiemom for hosting. Looks like a lot of sewing got done this weekend. Great pictures.

    jmoore, I love your quilt!

I couldn't participate but I really enjoyed seeing what everyone else was doing. Hopefully, I'll be doing better by next month and I can take part then.

I did get the ducks on a snowy pond quilted, made a couple of donation tops, and made this little quilted box to keep next to my ironing station... previously all the picked off threads ended up on the floor. I found the 10" squares on the Free table at guild on Saturday.

Thought I'd try this again. Got the top section of the blocks done this VQW. Now on to the curved piecing.
