Hi everyone! And thank you Heather for hosting.

Not going to have as much time today for quilting as I'd hoped, but I have finished my Penguins top and posted a photo of the result on the thread

Hope everyone is having fun, and I hope to be a bit more present next VQW

Well, I did get some sewing done today. I finished Clue #6 of the Cotton Cuts mystery and made some more Easy Breezy leader/ender blocks. Now I’m going to my comfy chair and work on some slow stitching.

thimblebug, those monkeys are too cute! And Sew Crazy is here in my hometown. Small world, huh? I helped Angie find the building she is in right now, it was formerly a home decor business and working out pretty well as a sewing shop. She didn't know it was available and she was about to lose the space she was renting at the time.

I got some pillow fronts stencilled. I got 5 of these, as well as 2 other quotes. And I also got some cut out for more pillow fronts.
Can't wait to see what you all have been sewing today.

I got most of the quilting done on my Ring of Wreaths and the binding sewn on. Tomorrow I will do some meandering on the wreath part to finish it.

Love your pictures, everyone! Beautiful projects.

I surprised myself by getting my 'Get Outta Town' duffle bag finished. I promised to show pictures, so, in the nick of time, here they are. The last pic is the inside of the bag, with slip and mesh pockets.

I pulled out a WIP - 6 place mats. I had four done and got another pieced. Spent much of the day getting 3 tops pinned together for quilting so I can work on them at our vacation home over the next few weeks. Can't wait to get them done and gifted. Thanks for VQW - it provided the momentum I needed.

This picture is a quilt using techniques from Judy Hopkins, "One-of-a-Kind Quilts.hibiscus-palm-tree-quilt-w-judy-hopkins-resize-2mp.jpg I decided to use these techniques on my bird panels.
