Working on 2 quilts this weekend. A kitty block where their tails come together in the middle in a snail trail block. 80 kitty blocks made up of 80 different green fabrics. Just got the snail trail blocks ready to go. Plus working on my 2nd Ombre quilt as a backing to the 1st one. This one will have the star in the middle as the front one does not. Blocks are all made, now to arrange them accordingly.

    love those dolls!

I felt like doing some brainless sewing yesterday and this AM - so worked on a scrappy quilt. I've been working hard to use up scraps, though after 8 or so quilts, I'm thinking it may be a lost cause. this one is mostly scraps from last year. I have enough cut for 49 12" blocks. the base unit is 1" finished.

Now I need to switch gears and work on the logo for my school quilt. I've got the ring done, did that paper piecing, and now have to start on some embroidery work. I'm going to applique the arrow head and embroider the shaft and fletching. I'll cut the feathers out in white and applique the blue ends, and then do some embroidery to add the speckles. Once it's done, I'll applique them on to the sky background and embroider the School name and motto on the "grass" part.

Helping a friend with her second quilt and finishing up the third of three pillow cases for Mother's Day for my daughter and 2 grands with fun "mama llama" fabric. What? Me have something done early??? That's crazy. Taking a break from my own quilt while traveling. Next up is a few bowl cozies and a mug rug. Did I mention that I LOVE being retired? Have a great weekend and keep sharing your pics.

My 33 year old daughter loves all the llama stuff that has become popular. She's been calling me "mamma llama" for 20 years.

Sync and Nan, love both of your baby quilts... great projects for the weekend. I am 3,000 miles from my sewing room but brought a small project to work on while I am here in California babysitting my new granddaughter. I will be finished with the quilt top this weekend then will find a LQS for more fabric. I’ll keep my eyes peeled on the projects posted here.

Quilting is done on "In Der Mitter". I hope to get the binding on today, in between making chocolate chip cookies and lasagna.

Got the main part of the logo done. It's meal time so I'll work on the feathers after that.

    Lovely work, everyone.

    I'm frogging.

If there is a 50/50 chance of getting it wrong, you know which 50 I will pick everytime.
