You do this only once a month? Your work ethic inspired me and I thought I'd join with you next weekend. Alas, I'm always late for the party. I'll join y'all next month, Lord willing.

Your quilts are beautiful! I love those little dolls, also.

Well, I got the sides sewn together and added to the baby's quilt. All I need to do now is sew together and add that last border piece, then trim and sew on the top.

Sorry I missed everyone this weekend, Daughter and Son-in-law are up for the week so we get to puppy sit the grand puppy. They had plans for this morning and afternoon but will be back in a little bit. Not use to staying up until 11:30 talking 2 nights in a row. Told them need to be in bed by 10 tonight, we still have to work tomorrow even though they don't. I have managed to do some knitting and a little hand work. Love everyone's projects and the lasagna sounds tasty, and those dolls are cute! Will be at the cabin next VQW so will be doing lots of sewing!

SillySusan, glad to have you with us.
Christine gorgeous quilt.
MacyBaby Awesome! Still can't figure out how you get so much done every week.
Snooze would love to see a picture.
Watson, we use the term 50 -50 -90, fifty fifty chance of getting it right 90 percent of the time its wrong.

I'll be this months cheer leader, since I'm not doing much. Keep on sewing!

Christine, yours is very pretty. I've always known it as Arkansas Crossroads https://www.google.com/search?q=arka...EIOzAB#imgrc=_

I just finished quilting my On Ringo Lake mystery quilt. Wow, it feels great to finish something! I'll remove the pins after dinner and start preparing the binding.

Thanks for hosting this VQW! It helped give me the push I needed to finish.

Cleaned a few windows today, this gorgeous sunshine really shows doggie noses etc. Managed to sandwich my quilt out in the sunshine, it is clouding over now, so pleased to have this done. This picture shows some of the fabrics a little better.

Susan and lulu, I'm so glad you popped in! The next one is Memorial Day weekend, hopefully you can join us then.

I made great progress on three quilt tops this weekend so I feel like a lot was accomplished. Apparently I'm done sewing for the night as the cat took my chair when I got up to press. I can pick up a few things though and prep a few projects.

Please feel free to post any additional pictures to this thread if you finish your project in the next few days

Lovely projects, as usual.

I got my BOM done for my LQS monthly meeting on Thursday. The class makes blocks using Deb Tucker rulers. It was the first time I made flying geese with a large square and 4 smaller squares. The nice thing about her rulers is she oversizes everything so you can trim them to the exact size. However, I think I prefer my die cutter although the ruler will be handy for the sizes I don't have dies.

I also volunteered yesterday and sewed some baby quilts so they could be birthed and top stitched. It was great getting together with this awesome group of volunteers!

Today I worked on a quilt top using 9" blocks cut by my church quilting group. I also cut some triangle shapes down with my dies. I decided I will be more likely to use the triangle scraps if they are in sizes I can use with my other dies. I also sewed 108 HST's needed for PaintmeJudy's Mystery Train Ride,

Thanks for hosting again, Raggiemom. See you next month.

here is the wool customer quilt, she's coming by tomorrow to decide whether she wants a denser fill in background--I like it as is and worry that the hand blanket stitch will not be as attractive with more quilting--but it's her quilt!

And then there's my own quilt--I started it as the Bonnie Hunter mystery On Ringo Pond, but it wasn't "talking " to me and I was bummed that I couldn't use my Accuquilt without buying a bunch of new dies, so in a hissy, I decided to make some more traditional blocks and then switched to a more modern looking quilt. So---here's my "It's a Mystery to Me--BH2017 or BUQ" (that would be b&** ugly quilt).
