Finished on top and got myself organized for tomorow's group sew. A lot more than I expected to get finished.

Saturday I got a lot done on my 2 projects. I sewed several more string boxes and cut & sewed 36 HATs for the 19th Mystery Quilt ( my first mystery ride). I also cut all the 2.5” squares for that project. I’m a bit stuck on the large group of 108 HSTs for that quilt, because my preferred dark fabric is short the amount needed. I cut some strips for another project that didn’t get used & they’re 1/2” too narrow. I may sew them together to utilize them in this quilt. My backup fabric for it would make a great backing for this mystery so I hope to avoid cutting into it.
Sunday I went riding in our gorgeous weather. I leave this Saturday for a week to ride with my women’s motorcycle group, the Motor Maids. We’ll spend our time riding roads in northeast Texas, an area I haven’t ridden in much. I should put about 1500 miles on my bike, helping me get closer to our club’s goal of each member riding 10,000 miles per year. So, a week of no quilting!

Didn't get all my templates cut out. My arthritis slowed down the cutting with scissors but my goal for this is the end of the month so I still have time. See you all next month.
