    What a beautiful thoughtful tribute.

It's actually Starfish by Fig Tree Quilts. And thank you.

quiltingshorttimer, your photos may be too big to load. Right click on the photo and then scroll down to "resize" and click, then click on "small". That's what I have to do with most all of my photos. Hope you can get it to work. Would love to see your pics.

Dottymo, those patchy animals are too cute. Obviously they are fused, but how will you do the edges? Raw edge applique, or satin stitch?

Thanks for the name of your pattern, Raggiemom.

And, I made some progress on my Plus quilt. I started this without a clear plan - just a bin of 2.5" strips and a hope that I could do this without repeating any fabric. Almost made it! I think there are a couple of repeats in the last section, because I ran out of orange/yellow fabrics and needed to brighten it up a bit. But there are 816 2.5" squares in this top, all out of my scrap bin (and hardly a dent made there, which is somehow contrary to the fact that I didn't have the colours I wanted).

That quilt looks like a cool one to do. Gonna look for some stripes and do one.
