Awesome projects everyone, just love the way the dotted fabric gives the bargello a lacy look, so pretty. I just finished two tote bags, a riff on the free Indie bag pattern, will probably do at least one more:

What pretty bags! I finished the Lone Star quilt top. Now I'm doing the quilting on the next project on my list

Loving all the fine work pictured and planned. The last long weekend I made a mini-design wall, I want a bigger one but no room so I plan to just lay a sheet on the floor. Was going to finish my slipcover on Feb. 29 haha! I'm working on it again after a long sidetrack -- and on my fabric postcard swap.
In quilting I see the idea is just to plunge in: I've been practicing but now just want to get started and deal with problems as they arise. So - I think I'll be designing my first one this weekend.

Heather I love your border especially and Taughtby I love the bargello work.

Raggiemom, your border looks great on your star!

Geevee... I really like those bags and the fabric you chose for them.

I have the borders on my baby quilt now, just having lunch and will see if there's a "backing in the house" to fit.

I'm enjoying the WIPS everyone is posting.

Still working on my WIP Log Cabin--having to take lots of breaks since I seem to have done something to my shoulder
.

Here it is on my design wall before I started stitching the blocks together

Just started a scrappy baby blanket from a new pattern I bought. So far, it looks pretty cute on the design wall. Will try to get a picture if I get the top sewn together this weekend.

rryder, what a cool project! Are you designing it or is this a commercial pattern? Either way it's great & I haven't seen one like it before.

Have the baby quilt sandwiched now... just taking a tea granny break...it is so rainy and grey here that it's the perfect sewing day.

The tree cutters came and wonder of wonders--I didn't have to help!! So I spent the day doing laundry and in my sewing room. I finished the 7 Pocket Bag (well, 8 for me because I am an over achiever and wanted a zippered pocket inside ) for my friend completely!!! I really like this pattern and hope to make a couple more as gifts in the next few weeks.
