Well, no progress for me today. As I started to measure my top for the slab-o-borders, I unfortunately noticed that one of the previous borders was sewn on upside down .......... sigh .......... I'm just going to spend time ripping and then go and work on my EPP.

That looks great!
The Embellishing class was very fun! The presenter brought 2 tubs of scraps, sequins, velvets, and all in between! I chose the shell outline. Picking fabrics was difficult with sooo many choices. I went with mostly velvets, but some did amazing overlays with sheer types. We ran out of time to finish, but she sent us home with a pillow and pillowcase to affix project. I think I'll create a tote to affix mine! The foundation is crinoline, so now I need to order some. Very stiff.

Well, I am moving forward on my VQW To Do List. I cut the 50 batting units for burp cloths and squared up one quilt. Then someone yelled "squirrel" and I started to sort some of the contents of my quilting closet. It does look better and I took a bag out to the trash and set aside some items for a "give away table" that are duplicates of what I already have. No fabric, just small tools and stuff.
Tomorrow more clean up of the mess I made and then work on the quilt top that needs to become a flimsy. I call it a success!

Time to report in and once again life caught me up and my progress was halted. I did get the batting scraps under control and batting for the two small quilts is ready to go. It appears that happened to a number of us this weekend. Ah well, all we have is time, and so we can continue on with our projects this week, this month and this year. See you all in July.
