I didn’t get anything I planned done. We had unexpected company that we hadn’t seen years since they moved to another state. They called in the morning to say they were back and asked if they could stop by. It turned into an all day gab fest and dinner. Why does company only come when your house is a wreck?

lena, what a fabulous reason to not get your planned quilting done. Yah, yah, yah goals are important but so are friends. Besides, we have another VQW in just a few weeks. It is wonderful to have friends that know they can call in the morning and stay for long conversations that last a day.

I totally agree. It was a wonderful way to spend the day and great to see them again. And you know what? The quilting fairy didn’t finish anything while I played. So it’s still there waiting for me. Now where’s that house cleaning fairy?!
