    Default Virtual Quilting Weekend--Apr 16-18, 2021

Welcome to VQW--April. Hope you can join me this weekend. I have several works in process so not totally sure which I will work on yet this weekend. Guess I'll have to see which one appeals first tomorrow

    Next VQW is May 14-16.

Still trying to make a dent in my scraps. It's never-ending! Will see what I get into this weekend. I have so many small quilts to quilt and bind.

Yeah! I love quilting weekends! I'm working on a basket quilt, a couple bindings, and organizing scraps!

I have the Merry Mayhem NYD quilt on my long arm, almost finished.
I have to add sashing to a bunch of blocks for the backing on a baby quilt and get it on the frame.
After that, I'm at loose ends for a quilting project...not that I don't have enough UFO's, but I'll have to decide which one to work on.

I’m in. I need to quilt 2-3 quilts on my long arm and hand sew binding on two of them. When I need a break I will sew sub parts for another project or work on small charity tops. Tonight I will set up for tomorrow, so I’m ready to quilt tomorrow. Happy sewing everyone.

Yay! I’m in. Working on the quilting for a large art quilt. I also need to put the QST blocks together for my April Debbbie Brown color block quilt, and my blocks for the Helen Godden 2018 feathered friends BOM are ready to be quilted. So ,lots to work on. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else is doing. Thanks for hosting Heather.

I'm in. Always have a lot to do. First I'll finish my round for the round robin. Then get my daughters quilts to the LA. My knee is much better, so maybe in a week I can get 'er done. Layed down for a nap and woke up when husband went to take his bath. So now he's in bed and I'm awake.

Had zoom time with my sewing group. It's really nice to chat and see what's happening.

I have one grandson day this weekend, (yippeeeee!) but tomorrow, I will jump in and assemble my giant quilt basting table and at least be able to baste 3-4 quilts on Sunday and Monday. That's probably the only thing I can accomplish because I have to rearrange my garage to get that basting table set up, clean the cobwebs and dust off of all the lumber and set up my iron. Also re-press all the quilt tops and backs and cut the batting

Last time, I couldn't finish everything I planned, so this time, I'm lowering my expectations.

Good luck to everyone - hope you accomplish everything you want to do without even a bit of unsewing. Breeze right through it all, y'all!

petthefabric, I'm so glad your knee is better.
