Practicing some of Jamie Wallen basic swirls.... front is a piece of poly/cotton and backing is embossed pieced fleece...not the easiest backing to practice on but it's handy!

Only 54 more hexies to cut, then to decide if I want the sides of the top to be straight or go with the flow.

The centers of the flowers are from my DH's grandma and we have had them for I think over 20 years. So I am making a circle of the black fabric with flowers then applique them to the flowers hoping to get them close to the same size.

Hopefully the picture will post, the computer is acting up again.

Waiting to see the toilet seat cover!

Didn't get to do much of my sewing. Started out yesterday and my iron went ka-plooey. Went to town and bought a new one today. So I will get started tomorrow.

Sewed binding on a quilt I've been working on for about 2 years........hand pieced and quilted replica of a quilt I made 40 yrs ago for my daughter when she went to college. Appliqued pansies made with a combination of fabric used in her and her daughters clothes. Managed to get t done without her knowing . will try to get someone to post picture. Her 20 wedding anniversary will be next month
