I’m enjoying looking at all the pictures and reading about quilts! So many talented ladies! This is my quilt which is done now, but I’m making a second one. I hope to have it ready to go to LA as soon as it’s done.

So much eye candy here! I love it all!
Sewbizgirl- hope you're feeling better soon.

I really must get my granddaughter's quilt done! She's due in 2 weeks. I'm terrified of screwing up the quilting. I'm making the shrug that SBG showed last month. That one is coming along great.

Spend a good part of the day sewing and took a break! Now back to the creative area for a few more hours of sewing. Finishing up today's project, a strip drawbar and then the last few appliqué pumpkin blocks- just finishing the stitching around the stems and one or two pumpkins. Tomorrow is putting binding on quilts that came back from LAQ and then binding in the recliner here and there Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Woohoo! Having a great time...

Only two weeks left? Wow, it seems like just yesterday you shared the news of her pregnancy. Time flies! Once you get down to the 37th week the waiting gets so exciting! Could be any day really!

Thanks for the well wishes, SusieQOH.... You won't screw up the quilting. Go for it! Just quilt it with love. So exciting that the baby is almost here!

I'd love it if you'd show your progress on the shrug. If you do, I'll show a little surprise that I've been knitting, too.

I got about half of my Bricks and Stones top together. Here is my progress on that:

This is for you SBG!! And thanks for the info on the pattern. I'm enjoying making it a lot!! Gosh, I haven't knitted anything small in ages ! I made the larger size because I wasn't sure if the real small one would get much use. I'm new at this Grandma thing haha

Okay so when you feel better we want a peek of what you're doing!

Just realized that this is the wrong pic. I had to take out a few rows. The mistake is glaring!!!
But it's back to about that size now.

PS. Your STicks and Stones is lovely!

Susie....adorable little shrug... You are doing a beautiful job. Congrats, too! I must have missed you sharing this or the months went so fast, I forgot!

Love the 9P tops shared....and the selection of scrappy colors. Looks fantastic... I should probably do something with my 9P collection...great inspiration.

Sewbiz..I use the Appliquick method but take it one step further by cutting the center's of interfacing out so pieces aren't stiff. Then I machine sew them using a teeny tiny zigzag of same color thread or monofilliment depending on project. There are youtubes on the method, if interested.

I have sewn most of my applique down to the circle center's, now just have to sew center on BG. I'm seeing double so have to stop for the day...lol..

I just popped in while taking a break and what beautiful projects! The yellow and black star is stunning! I’m looking forward to seeing more beautiful projects as the weekend progresses.

I have washed two loads of fabric and shirts for quilting and I just finished clearing out my mending and alteration projects. I replaced one side of a zipper in a jacket (a first for me), patched a couple pairs of DH’s pants, fixed an undergarment and split a shower curtain in two for a friend. Now I can move on to the quilting portion. That will be more relaxing and enjoyable. 😊
