WendyMcD—wow you were busy!
Didn’t do as much today as had planned. Spent the day with husband. But did get some planning and handwork done so not a total washout!
Please feel free to keep adding to this thread if you’re continuing to work through Christmas. Hope to see you all back here on New Years.

It's great to see what everyone is doing. And thanks for the link to the OMG quilt.
Irishgal, that is a very pretty block. Your tablerunner is going to be lovely.
QuiltingVagabond, wow! Beautiful 2" squares and stacked so neatly. My cats would see those and say, "oh heck no, those need some immediate rearranging."
Iceblossom, I hope you feel better real soon!
Wendy, your Row by Row looks terrific with the panel fabric. So maybe UFOs aren't so bad to have hanging around, even for a couple decades.
Thanks for the nice compliments on the table runner and topper. The fabric has lots of sparkles on it but they didn't show up in the pics. I finished the blue one so will post a pic and hopefully it will show better. Btw, the fabric is from Joann's.
I took a break this morning to do some cleaning and made chili and cornbread. House smells so good! I will make some cookies later for that empty cookie plate. Then I need to drop off toys at the firehouse donation. Weather is getting stormy and we're expecting snow on Christmas - yeah! We had 14" on Thanksgiving day. (I'm at a high elevation in So.Cal) Great weather to stay in and quilt. Wishing everyone safe travels and healing hugs!
Happy quilting! Di

QuiltingVagabond, I can’t wait to watch the progress of you Omigosh quilt. I’ve seen some photos and they are amazing...you must have the patience of a Saint. : )
Quiltah Mama, I’m sure you are having a blessed Christmas with your grandchildren...you are lucky that they live close enough...mine are in Key West and California and the holidays just aren’t the same without little people.

I am still plugging away at my panel quilt "Serenity". Over 80 hours of quilting. Well, not quite, at least 3 of the 80 was spent taking out some quilting I wasn't happy with the tension. All those tiny pumpkins seeds (done on a 1/2" grid) had sporadic pokies of the bobbin thread which is white. So I ripped them all out and redid them. Much happier with them now.

I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Not sure if I will finish this VQW but I will try. I have Monday off so the outlook is good.

I finished all 49 blocks & added sashing on 2 sides. They are 10", unfinished. Today I trimmed them all & got them arranged in a 7 X 7 square. I'll add a border on the top & bottom to add length. I'm using stash so the border will be pretty narrow. I do not want to buy more fabric for it, except for the backing.

what wonderful work all of you are doing! I'm little jealous--haven't had a chance to approach either a sewing machine or the long arm in a week! Definitely have quilting withdrawals! Son's family (3 boys, 5,6, 11) here all this week and it's been very busy with hosting 3 family gathers (one left on Sat. ) Love them all and glad we are having this time together--but it has been hectic! And in all the hub-bub I forgot to give 2 lapquilts and a table topper to the recipients on Sunday (had to send with another family member who say them today) and while the kids and g-boys here last night, forgot to give the DS & DD their bed quilts, so still to give those!
