Good morning all! Just checking in quickly to see how everyone is doing. Sounds like several of us are finishing quilts this weekend. Hopefully we all have a productive time and stay cool while working.

My beach trip has been rescheduled for tomorrow, so today is quilting day (along with household chores). This is my Grandmother's Flower Garden that has been my work in progress for 2 years. I would love to get these last three rows done by the end of the year.

I will continue working on machine quilting (domestic) the Moda Blockheads 2018 quilt. I (for the first time) used a very "Puff" batt so have to adjust the tension, etc. About 3/4 done so I'd like to finish!!

Good morning VQW'ers, I love these work-outs put together by Raggiemom, thanks again. I've just recently re-join the sewing world and I am glad that I have my sewing mojo back. I pull out some 20 yo projects to work on and trying to finish them up but I keep running out of matching colors of the fabric. I'll keep digging in my stash for help.

Happy Sewing everyone and enjoy your progress. I'm enjoying your pictures.

I’m finishing a show quilt. I have 2 six inch borders to quilt, then put on the binding. It needs to be done today to get it entered.

Well a small challenge to face the day. I already knew when I started this project that I have less cheetah fabric than I thought. What I thought was WoF was a long skinny piece and a couple of scraps, and of course not the right skinny for what I want! Just an inch or so short of cutting it the most efficiently. Had it been WoF I would have had plenty.

Anyway, I am short a bit on the sashing between the blocks but I have a contingency plan in reserve! First I need to finish this round of block sewing/pressing. Then to layout with what I have and see what I am short.

i'm putzing along with my projects. i finished the mystery top, it will sit a looonnnggg time before I get around to quilting it. So I just pressed 2 lap tops that will be donated as honor quilts to veterans in November. Both are a little small,so I will add another border to each to make them an acceptable size.
Way too hot to do anything outside!

Sewed 34 divided square blocks, trimmed 37. Have 111, need either 208 or 180, so more to go.

Sewed and pressed several blocks for my log chevron.

All the 15 block rows for my 6" square in a square are webbed into sets of two rows. Pressed seams, pinned, sewed, pressed rows A & B together.

I'm planning to join tomorrow if my husband decides to work. I'm working on a quilt for him and i dont' want him popping into my sewing room and seeing it. If not, I may work on my hexies or try to get the quilt top I have done sandwiched.
