Marcia- right now we're having trouble keeping weight on him because he eats some and then gets busy chasing the other (younger) horses away from their grain buckets so he can eat their food. Problem is, he's got too few teeth to actually chew and properly digest regular feed and they eat his senior feed while he's busy eating (gumming actually) theirs. The round bale of hay that's out for them doesn't do him any good because he can't chew well enough to actually digest it. So as of yesterday he gets put in his stall from morning til after evening feeding. He already gets senior feed twice a day and beet pulp mash twice a day along with fat supplements.

He's not a happy camper when he has to stay in the barn-- he'd rather be out 24/7 bossing the younger horses around LOL! We want to get him fattened up before winter.

Love all the eye candy, again not letting me upload pics. Yesterday I finished 1machine appliqué block and 3 Sylvia Bridal quilt blocks. Today going to try to complete more Sylvia.

And a couple of detail shots.

this is going to be a great quilt!

Did you try clicking on "GO ADVANCED" before posting your pictures? I used to have to git that way. The only other thing I can think of is to check the size of the pictures. If they are too large they won't post. I use Paint program and reduce mine to 300 pixels. Hope this helps.

Wow! The projects you are all working on are fabulous. I didn't do as much as I'd hoped, but I got a quilt and two wall hangings to the flimsy stage.

Here are the final two blocks of the eight I need for my project. I'm making three quilts alike for my nieces and nephew so made the first set to decide if I like it as I have it designed. I also got all the other 16 blocks cut out and in their little baggies, waiting for their turns! LOL Here are my last two blocks. I designed them, but I'm sure someone has made them before somewhere in time! If you recognize either or both, please let me know. Not sure what else I will get into today, I've got an eye bothering me because I left my contacts in too long. Between my eye and my sore finger, I think I need to go back to bed and start over! What a clutz!

There is also iron on tape for that job.

No more sewing for me until at least Thursday... I had to removed my left contact lens so I can start the pre-surgery drops and my vision with the right eye just won't cut it. Hopefully after I get the second eye done, they will work nicely together. Or I may need a new pair of glasses, but for now I am sidelined.

Sorry you have to wait to sew, I know how awful that can feel, but it will be worth your wait in the long run.
