giquilt, I have to resize my photos to all half their original size in order to upload them on this site.

I love all of the quilts being made. I hope to spend today doing some hand quilting on my Welsh Beauty whole cloth quilt. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday afternoon and some errands that needed to be done so I didn't get as much time to quilt as I had hoped.

I have been working on a two-step quilt. It is the latest tutorial from Jenny Doan. All of my blocks are done and I am laying them out getting ready to sew the top together. I think I can finish by tonight. I hope I can share the pictures of one block, and a few of them layed out on the bed. I'm going to sit back a few minutes now to look at what you have all been doing.

Everyone has such beautiful and fun quilts to show this weekend. This is really inspiring for a rookie quilter.
My goal in the VQW was to finish my 3rd quilt and I am successful. Yesterday I finished quilting, sewing rod pockets, and putting the binding on. Of course it did not go as smooth as it sounds. I am hand sewing the last rod pocket down when I realized I had attached them to the quilt upside down. What followed was some colorful words and the removal of the top piece of binding and sewing it on correctly.
This morning I hung the Bargello and I am really pleased with how it came out. I really like when what I see in my minds eye comes to fruition. You cannot really see the quilting lines in the picture of it hanging, so I am including one where the quilting was done, but the finishing was not. I quilted this by sewing gentle curves with a walking foot through the curves the fabric made. This quilt was completely sewn on my Singer 15-88 treadle. Not bad work for a rookie quilter:-)

Thanks for the advise and the incentive of this thread to get this finished!

Good morning everybody, I am dragging this morning the humidity changed on me and caused me to be a little ache this morning. So, I didn't get as much done on this VQW, but there is always another time. Maybe I had my expectations set too high. I wish I could get more than one pix to transfer at a time but, let just go for this. I did get the Craftsy Kit set together and I put together some scrappy borders for it. I'll try to do other things to it later. but there is the pix:
