Time for breakfast, have a pot of gingerbread coffee if any one wants some.[/QUOTE]

I'll be right over. Blueberry muffins would be nice also.

Good morning Raggiemom and everyone, 'I am in,' this month's VQW. Usually it's scheduled when I am into something else. Not this time I am in for it. I plan on getting somethings done this time. Just this morning I finished the baby quilt that I'm gifting to my God niece that lives in Louisiana. Tried not to make it too heavy, but I wanted it to be cozy with a flannel backing. The baby will be a year old in a couple more months. I'm getting better her older sister was two years old when she received her 'Aunt betty' quilt.

Dedemac, the binding will happen for you, since we're speaking of breakfast, I already had a couple of pancakes. But, I could try some of that gingerbread coffee

Boston1954, I love hand quilting and yours is looking great

    Rob, enjoy your new playmate

Have a productive day everyone, I'm off to another project around here.

I was suppose to be at a two day Embroidery class, but due to the weather I'm staying home instead.

I'm working on a quilt to hang at the Thrift Store where I work. It will have 11 "homes" for each of the Homes for the 1-6th grade students (it's a residential school so they live on campus during the school year).

I'm getting them partially sewn and then the kids will mark them up with fabric markers. I've got five done and started on the 6th. Here are the first three.

Cherry - they are pieced blocks that end up 17x18. there isn't any applique on them. Right now I don't have all the sections sewing together. This way if something gets totally messed up with the markers, I can fix or replace that part easier.

Cherrybsixty, Congratulations on finishing the baby quilt for your niece, the quilt I'm binding is a similar one, Laura just turned 2 last week.

Macybaby, That is such a wonderful project for the thrift store, the homes are wonky cute!

Kitsie, You are correct it is a cute little baby quilt, looking forward to some close ups of the quilting.

One side down about to turn the corner on the binding, taking a break for lunch and some house work.

Wow, many projects already moving along. I'm in this weekend also. Tomorrow I have my Quilts for Kids workshop/sewing group. I'll be cutting kits and hopefully finishing up a quilt. I've been told that tomorrow is National Quilting Day.

I desperately need to work on a few UFOs this weekend. Also, my sewing room needs some TLC. Once I finish up a few projects, I can clean it up a bit. Happy sewing everyone.
