Yesterday I made 6 blocks for the 365 day challenge.
Weekend sewing plans:
1. Make at least 10 more blocks for the challenge. (I fell behind and now I need to play catch up.)
2. Assemble tomorrow's HST challenge block
3. Cut enough HST's for the remaining HST challenge blocks
4. Prioritize my UFO's
A special thanks to everyone for sharing pictures of your projects.

A fidget quilt is a small quilt that keeps the hands busy for people with dementia or Alzheimer's. Easy to make, I used flannel for batting so it's light and anything can be added to it. Just make sure it's attached well, and can be washed.

I'm in--spend all day yesterday with Guild meetings, working on the guild newsletter--so no actual sewing but does that count? then today I've spend about 9 hrs total putting together the top--first ever set on point! yea! It worked!. Would take a pictures but I can't get off the sofa now! Tomorrow I teach sashings, borders, binding for the last beginner class and can't wait to be finished--great class of men and women and they have been the hardest workers-but we've been meeting Saturdays from mid-Jan. and I' needing a change of pace. And really need to get a quilt on the long arm!

I'm in, I'm hoping to get a set of 6 placemats quilted and bound this weekend. If it rains, then maybe start a scrappy quilt as well. We went to a karaoke party last night, it was painful listening to people sing horribly off-key, 3 hours of my life I'll never get back... Never again.

I always enjoy these VQWs and enjoy seeing what others are working on... Here are mine:
The first is a scrappy snowball and 9 patch. I hope to quilt it so that the scrappy "stars" stand out and the black/white background recedes.
The second photo shows a Kaffe Fassett quilt I just cut out. It's very simple HSTs and a couple of QSTs. I just love those fabrics!

I started a new quilt full of largish batiks and a few prints tonight.
I think I want to get out my seam ripper and move the big yellow fish closer to the top so he'll be near the center of the bed when finished.
