I'm not going to wait a YEAR to do a project!! And for another Friday the 13th in November we may have to wait a lot longer! Couldn't resist the tease!

I'll be quilting a crib quilt and hand sewing the back "seams" of its Prairie Points together, and hand quilting some more on my Dresden.

I'm glad I saw this, but I wish I had seen it earlier. I would have been more productive lol right now I'm putting together a back of a quilt so I can sandwich it tomorrow. I should also wash some fabric too...but laundry is no fun lol

Yea, looks like I can get some hand sewing done tonight. Need to make one more ornament for a swap.

I'm hand piecing LeMoyne stars. There are seven different black & white prints.

You all sound so ambitious. Wish I could join in but we buried my husband's mother (94) yesterday and still have overnight guests. Maybe tomorrow afternoon I can get at something. Enjoy everyone.

We love pictures, but this is a friendship kind of weekend.... just keep checking in and letting us know how your organizing is going.... no camera...no biggie....

been getting quite a bit done, though I've not started up the long arm yet. That will be for tomorrow.

Yesterday I got most of the Belle Bella top done, and then realized I'd made a mistake.

the lower row is suppose to go the same direction all around - and two of the sections got swapped when I put them together.

Decided to put it away for the night and this AM got out my electric seam ripper and seam fixer and went to work.
At least I had not pressed it yet, or started on the next round.
Made short work of it, and two hours later I had it back together correctly.

Here it is, all put together.

Though I think this one is my favorite

I've been working on a second smaller quilt that is using up a lot of the scraps from this one, making stars and sashing.

What a beautiful quilt top, Macybaby. Never heard of an electric seam ripper, that could be good for me!

You just sew and show, Jean! Chit chat is great too...

Karamarie, I'm very sorry for your loss.

I thought I'd get to sew with y'all tomorrow but didn't find out til today that I'd been scheduled to work! So no VQW for me this time. I will watch what you all get done.

Love your quilt top, macybaby. It's awesome.
