Lovely photo! I'm jealous, you got to sew with Bonnie Hunter all day!

So far I actually have fit some sewing time in this weekend, which I didn't think I would be able to. I made two Burgoyne Surrounded blocks. They are pretty labor intensive, with most of the pieces being 1" finished. 2 done, 23 to go!

Kathy: Lucky lady to take a class with Bonnie. Great picture and lovely block.

    Beautiful quilts/tops/ blocks being shown.

I did work on projects in my sewing room but the Gopher football game was so fast-paced today and exciting that I couldn't just do my casual watching and listening while I was sewing. Oh, well. I hopefully will get more done tomorrow afternoon.

in between doggy sitting and visiting with my DD I managed to fuse the pieces to the Row by Row from 100 Mile House, BC.... I usually satin stitch the edges but these shapes are way too teensy for that... guess I will be doing some edge straight stitching to hold them down....

Yesterday I decided on the center design for my doodle quilt and got it marked. Realizzed that I either strained a muscle/pinched a nerve in my right shoulder or am having a gall bladder attack so not much sleep last night and nothing got done today- kept having to lay down. Scan on Wed. to see if it’s a gallbladder problem.. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel up to quilting the center portion of the doodle quilt. I’ve enjoyed seeing what everyone else has going.

Well I finished quilting one quilt and started another. But I didn’t get much studio time because this was the day my husband decided to hang Christmas lights. He’s trying to beat the snow that is Due anyday. Which I understand. But it’s been a long ordeal today. So I finally just got in the house. I’m going to do some hand stitching.

Oh Rob...I sympathize with you. I hope it’s nothing serious and I’m sure it’s frustrating, especially when you have sewing projects awaiting. : /

qltnmom, love your design and colorful quilt top.

Kathy (QuiltingVagabond), so jealous of your class experience with Bonnie...looks like a day of fun.

Sorry Rob. Hope it's not gall bladder related.

Irishgal, love those doggies in sweaters!

Thimblebug, are you making a row by row quilt? They are fun. I made one two years ago when the theme was "Home Sweet Home". It's on the wall in my upstairs sewing room and I have yet to get tired of looking at it. For this year, I only bought one "music" row and plan to border it and make a wall hanging.

There is some great and fun sewing going on this VQW! Unfortunately, that is not happening for me today and I need a little pity party here. Cause this is what I need to tackle today - that "dirty" word in sewing...

As you can see, I have been procrastinating for quite a while... wish me luck, I'm going in!
