I have only managed to get one block made so far. I got up feeling pretty punk and went back and laid down until about noon. That is late for this early bird. Once I had a couple cups of coffee I got busy and made a single Hunter Star. I want to get at least one more made before the end of the day. Who knows maybe another one too. Looking more like the binding I was hoping to complete will wait for another day. It will be completed in the next week or so however. I need to finish it. My primary sewing machine went out on me a couple days ago. I am using my FW and I use this machine so carefully. I am very protective of my FW's..

Oh! How could I have forgotten I need to sew the rows together on my Halloween quilt? I can't procrastinate on it any longer

Great projects ladies! I have a Halloween banner in my sights to make, But, after finishing up a dozen charity donations and repairing and altering a few winter clothing items I had stacked up fabrics. useable scraps and patterns to make a mess to clear and clean my sewing room. That is what I will be doing this weekend. Sad but true. I hate feeling closed in by clutter.

Everyone’s projects are looking great. On my agenda today is to finish clue 3 of the Cotton Cuts mystery.

Yesterday, bought fabric. Get it washed and ready to start 3 charity quilts (most of those will be from stash). And the other is for backs. So to dress, wash fabric, plant 2 pots at the church. Then quilt the rest of the day.

    Default VQW - Progress

I will try again. Deleted my original post a few minutes ago. Here is proof positive that I have finished the top for this donation quilt. I may add a cream border or just layer and quilt, but not this week-end. I must move on to other of my VQW goals.
