I'd so love to join this weekend, I have a Ribbon Box quilt in the planning stages (just got the last of the 12 fabrics this morning) but I have to get started on three pairs of curtains first. I'll be watching everyone's projects though.

    Love those bears!!!
Tomorrow morning I have an appointment to get my hair cut, but after that I will get into my sewing room. First I have to get it organized. on 8/8 I had a hysterectomy and my sewing room was pretty much where I set things instead of putting them away. Then I plan to prepare the Row by Row patterns I picked up for others ready to mail. Then I will be ready to sew. I am still working on the Old McDonald's farm quilt. All the squares are embroidered, cut to size and the black frame fabric is cut and ready to sew. The baby was born 7/31/16. They currently live in Texas but are moving back to San Diego in November so decided to wait to deliver the quilt. (One less thing to move.)
(I am telling you all this so I will be motivated to get it all done. :0 )

I've never participated in this Virtual Quilting Weekend but I have a Christmas table runner that I want to finish this week-end so I will say I am in for this one. I don't know if I will get it completely done but will try. Do I take a pic when I'm done. I'm not sure just how this week-end thing works.

I haven't participated in one either, but am game. I'm working on an art quilt for my older granddaughter, sandwiching 2 tops and a few other UFOs.

I'll join starting on Saturday morning; today was guild day, followed by lunch with a bunch of the gals, then a couple of errands, then a well-needed nap. I've been working my way thru stash of plain squares, strips of various widths, and HSTs never used. Using them to make quilts for the guild's Community Quilts bee. I MUST use up lots of stash as I will be moving again sometime in the next 6 months or so, into a place much smaller than I have now. The little living room will be my sewing space with no sofa, just one comfy chair and the TV. The rest will be the fabric armoire, the sewing table, several storage cabinets of notions, etc., and an ironing surface. It's going to be tight!

So tomorrow I start another quick-ish, easy 50" x 40" quilt, probably in the modern theme using strips of varying widths. I don't have a camera so will see if my daughter can help me share a few pics.

Oh, Jan, it's sad you have to move again. AND into a smaller space. Hugs to you.
