Looking forward to seeing those bears, when done...I really like the fabric you have used in their bodies, thimble.

Thanks for sharing the pic, Macybaby....got to have a clear mind when sewing that one...

After deconstructing all those jeans, I've been cutting it up...making strip type quilts cutting in widths of 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 2.5...I try to get the widest and work down...when I get tired of cutting, I start sewing strips together...have a kid's quilt in mind using a heavy weight piece of sports themed fabric for one wide horizontal strip....

I had blood drawn for upcoming surgery and then DD and I went to the crafts fest this morning. Lots of nice things, but didn't buy anything. No money. For years, I bought a lot of Christmas gifts here. It gave me a great headstart. I'm about to start machine appliqueing eyes and mouths to my "Happy Days' quilt --I can't handsew anymore.

    Jan,
Why do you call them Flimsies?
The sun popped out. I think I'll walk over to Michaels, 50% coupon in hand!
    Sewing later. Dotty

Making progress on the baby blocks quilt. I got 4 more blocks finished. Thought I need to do 16 blocks but it's 20 blocks (4x5 layout). Hoping to get a few more finished between within next day.

I'm working on my Christmas table runner today & making great progress. I should have the top completed in a couple of hours & then tomorrow I can sandwich it together to get it ready for quilting.

Jan- fabulous quilts, I love the colors you've picked for each of them.

Macybaby- cool maze, I'm enjoying seeing how you put one together.

I just got the borders on Granddaughter #1's xmas present, it's lap sized. Here's a pic

Just got home from a family reunion, boy am I wiped out! The weather was great but breezy, but now I just want a nap LOL!
Maybe I will make it to the sewing room in a bit so I can say I participated today.
