Sunny, the little girl getting the butterfly quilt will be in 7th heaven. That fabric is adorable.... my ggd would love it. And the points on your pinwheels are spot on.... good job.

Judith, I love the little ghost.... or zombie, or whatever he is.... totally cute. I keep saying I want to do a halloween quilt but haven't done one yet. We never get trick-or-treaters so maybe it's just going to be for me.

Okay, I have one last border side to do on my quilt. Then, I need to go get some batting. I don't keep any up here at the cabin.... not that much room here.... I'll snap a picture of the top before I go so you all can give me suggestions on a quilting pattern for it.
It's a Mummy Nanna-Up-North. I adore Halloween. My actual birthday would have been sometime around Halloween if I hadn't been in such a hurry to get her. (10-5) My kids are grown. And my only grandson so far lives in NC. But, I'm making a Halloween quilt anyway. There's a swap going on here on the board with Halloween blocks if you want to look into it. That is what I'm making my blocks for. (here) http://www.quiltingboard.com/member-...a-t248301.html

I really love this quilt! My brother is a musician in Southern California. I have a guitar themed OBW in the queue to finish for him for Christmas.

Nanna Jean, your guitar quilt is awesome.

I just took a lunch break. Time to get back to work, the charity quilt is 1/2 done on the binding.

Finished my MIL's quilt! I posted pics in the Pictures section, since I wasn't sure if I would break rules by posting photos twice. Trying to be a good girl! :-)

I'm going to do some housekeeping, and then, since my morning was freed up, I plan to straighten and organize my sewing room, finish a curtain for the window in there, and get things ready for my next slew of projects. I'll try to post photos of the room this evening or tomorrow.

Okay, I finished the laundry and 2 of these little babies. I am making postcards for my grandson. I'm a bit slow. I'm only on B. But, this is only the 3rd and 4th one I've made. I think I have the technique down now. When I say I've finished 2, I am making 2 of each postcard. One for my Grandbaby and 1 to put away in case my son ever blesses us with grandbabies. Now, I'm trying to decide if I'm going to make my next set of swap blocks or a doll quilt. I have to see what fabric I have going. Hoping to get a good start on one of these today. And, finish them up tomorrow.

Nanna, I love the guitar. Did you decide against the strings, or are they just not showing up in the photo?
