Watson, is that technique called picture piecing? I just bought a pattern to do that and it looks difficult. Yours is looking great so far!

Have to think about it some more.

I'm working on A Christmas table runner and Finishing baby quilts for the hospital. But a issue has developed with my sewing machine making a loud noise hopefully I can fix it today.

Here is the finished OMG quilt. I'm pleased with how the borders turned out - I may turn the front to the back for the binding - can't really think of anything else that would work.

    And my helpers -

helping to keep the completed UFO's from taking off . . . I need to get pictures so I can post them on the UFO challenge thread. I've been trying hard to get some done before the end of the year.

I'm almost done with the 4 patch blocks for the BH Mystery, and then I want to play with some charm squares and the mini-twister ruler I bought a while ago and having used yet.

Great quilts being finished (or worked on). I had precut an entire layer cake for Quatrefoil. With each block at 12 1/2" I realized that I had enough for two 3x4 and one 2x6 quilts. Holy cow, what was I thinking? Must have not had brain engaged when I did all the precuts. Oh well...... Now I have 12 blocks done and ready to press. I found that some blocks do better if I finger press as I go and give them a final press after assembly.

I don't know what it's called. I just sort of made it up. I am going to satin stitch between each piece to quilt it. How does your pattern tell you to quilt it?

It says to "quilt as desired". Sigh. Can't wait to see yours completed!
