Definitely Fall colors, orange, brown, green and yellow, and a little red. I have made a lot of quilts using fall colors. Howver RED is my very favorite color.

I'm with Martina(MadQuilter). I really like the colors of fall. I always go for the rust/orange/browns/green, etc. They are just so rich looking..I guess that is why Fall is my favorite season!

The only color that I know for sure that I hate is chartreuse (isn't that the pukey pea-green?). I like quilts with a variety of shades. An all-pastel quilt bores me and an all dark & dreary one depresses me.

I have just gotten together an assortment of yummy batiks for my next new project. I love the way some batiks look as though someone poured a mixture of paint colors in a container and just slightly stirred and swirled them around a bit.

I have to say I really love most colors, but I usually lean toward purples and greens in my quilts, except for my CW's which ofcoarse tend more toward tans, browns, reds, blues, greens.
I find also I tend to "crave" seasonal colors going into those seasons.
Like when I start getting tired of winter and want Spring to come, then I seem to want more pastels or brighter colors, where when fall starts rolling around I lean toward wanting to work in those colors. Does anyone else do this?
